For the Production Access, it is necessary to have an onboarded product in the Central Data Lake. To onboard CDL please follow this link.

The Playground Subscription is meant for experiments at an individual purpose. Use this model to try out ideas and proof of concept, before you onboard a proper project.
Production Subscription is meant for the development and deployment of productive applications, including their early phases.
What happens next?

For Playground Subscriptions, the developer will get an API Key with access to GenAI Models at a certain token limit, for 3-months. This key must not be shared and is exclusively linked to the requestor BSH Employee or BSH External.
For Production Subscriptions, the requesting development team will receive an associated Secrets Manager access to the API Key, which can be used in CDL Applications under the assigned onboarded SSO Role from the Cloud Services.
